Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Turkish Baths, a booking marketplace connecting guests with independent hamam and spa venues. By creating a reservation or a partner account you agree to them.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or booking through Turkish Baths you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you use the service on behalf of a business (for example as a venue partner), you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
What Turkish Baths is
We operate an online marketplace and booking platform. Hamams and spas listed on the site are independent businesses; we are not the operator of any venue and are not party to the service you receive there. Availability, pricing, house rules and the experience itself are set by each venue.
Bookings and payments
When you book, we place an authorisation hold on your card for the deposit or full amount shown at checkout. The charge is captured once the venue confirms your reservation (or immediately for venues with instant confirmation); if a venue cannot accommodate your request, the hold is released and you are not charged. Any balance due on arrival is paid directly to the venue.
Cancellations, changes and refunds
Each venue sets its own cancellation and rescheduling policy, shown before you pay. Cancelling within the stated window refunds amounts already charged; cancelling outside it may forfeit part or all of the deposit. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and can take several business days to appear depending on your bank.
Partner venues
Venues listed on Turkish Baths agree to honour the availability, prices and policies they publish, to respond to reservation requests within the stated approval window, and to provide the service described on their listing. Turkish Baths charges a commission on confirmed bookings as agreed during onboarding; venues are responsible for the accuracy of their own listing content, subject to our change-request review.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform: no fraudulent bookings or payments, no scraping or automated access, no attempting to circumvent booking fees by contacting a venue to rebook outside the platform after being introduced through it, and no abusive behaviour towards venue staff or our support team.
Intellectual property
The Turkish Baths name, logo, website and app content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Content submitted by venues or reviewers (photos, descriptions, reviews) remains owned by the submitter, who grants us a licence to display it on the platform.
Liability
We provide the booking platform "as is" and work to keep availability and pricing accurate, but we do not guarantee that every listing is error-free or that a venue will perform exactly as described. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking; we are not liable for how a venue conducts its business or for indirect or consequential losses.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, engages in fraud, or repeatedly fails to honour bookings (customers) or approval commitments (venues). You may close your account at any time from Account settings; open reservations are honoured or cancelled according to the applicable cancellation policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in this section removes any statutory consumer protection you are entitled to in your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the site, and continued use of Turkish Baths after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
